These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Filipino Remote Jobs. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Filipino Remote Jobs is an online job board platform that connects Filipino professionals seeking remote work opportunities with international employers. Our services include:

• Job listing and discovery for remote positions
• Employer profiles and company information
• Job seeker profiles and application management
• Communication tools between employers and job seekers
• Career resources and industry insights

We act solely as an intermediary platform and are not a party to any employment agreement between employers and job seekers.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential, and not share it with others
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Job Seeker Terms

If you use the Platform as a job seeker, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, resume, and applications
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or skills
• Apply only to positions for which you are genuinely interested and qualified
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with potential employers
• Not use the Platform to solicit employers for purposes other than legitimate job seeking
• Respect the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared during the application process

Job seekers may create a profile and apply to jobs free of charge. We do not guarantee employment or that employers will respond to applications.

5. Employer Terms

If you use the Platform as an employer, you agree to:

• Represent a legitimate business entity with actual remote job opportunities
• Post accurate job descriptions including responsibilities, requirements, and compensation information
• Not post jobs that are misleading, fraudulent, or involve illegal activities
• Comply with all applicable employment laws in your jurisdiction
• Treat all applicants fairly and not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Protect the personal information of job seekers and use it only for recruitment purposes
• Pay all applicable fees for job postings as specified

Free job postings are active for 30 days. Paid job postings are active for 60 days from the date of posting. We reserve the right to remove job postings that violate these Terms or our posting guidelines.

6. Payment Terms

Employers are required to pay for job posting services as specified on our pricing page. Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By making a payment, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees at the time of posting
• Provide accurate billing information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for fees owed

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid job postings. If you are not satisfied, contact our support team within 30 days of payment for a full refund.

We may change our pricing at any time, but changes will not affect job postings already purchased.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information or job listings
• Impersonating another person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users of the Platform
• Scraping, data mining, or using automated tools to collect data from the Platform
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our systems
• Uploading viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the Platform
• Using the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Posting jobs that require upfront payment from applicants or involve multi-level marketing schemes
• Circumventing or disabling any security features of the Platform

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Filipino Remote Jobs and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform (such as job postings, profiles, and resumes). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Platform.

If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with details of the alleged infringement.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Job listings are accurate, complete, or legitimate
• You will find employment or suitable candidates through our Platform
• Information provided by other users is accurate or trustworthy

We encourage users to verify information independently and exercise caution when engaging with other users. We are not responsible for the conduct of employers or job seekers.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILIPINO REMOTE JOBS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Filipino Remote Jobs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of the Philippines.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Platform prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
