Overview
Yoko Co is a digital marketing agency working exclusively with mission-driven clients — including public health organizations, environmental nonprofits, and social impact companies. As a WordPress Support Engineer, you'll be the technical backbone of their client support team, troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and communicating solutions clearly.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress website issues for mission-driven clients
- Implement technical fixes, plugin updates, and theme modifications
- Monitor site health, performance, and uptime across the client portfolio
- Communicate technical solutions clearly and professionally to non-technical clients
- Document recurring issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base
- Collaborate with the development team on escalated issues
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on WordPress experience
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP debugging skills
- Excellent written English communication
- Experience in a client-facing technical support role
- Comfortable managing multiple client sites simultaneously
- Ability to overlap with US business hours
