Job Description

Overview

Yoko Co is a digital marketing agency working exclusively with mission-driven clients — including public health organizations, environmental nonprofits, and social impact companies. As a WordPress Support Engineer, you'll be the technical backbone of their client support team, troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and communicating solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress website issues for mission-driven clients
  • Implement technical fixes, plugin updates, and theme modifications
  • Monitor site health, performance, and uptime across the client portfolio
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly and professionally to non-technical clients
  • Document recurring issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base
  • Collaborate with the development team on escalated issues

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on WordPress experience
  • Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP debugging skills
  • Excellent written English communication
  • Experience in a client-facing technical support role
  • Comfortable managing multiple client sites simultaneously
  • Ability to overlap with US business hours
