Job Description

Overview

Okendo is hiring a Technical Support Specialist based in the Philippines to support their Shopify merchant clients. This fully remote role blends front-end development with customer-facing support — ideal for someone who enjoys both coding and helping people.

Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive chat and email support to merchants during onboarding, post-installation, and ongoing maintenance
  • Perform front-end development tasks on Shopify storefronts using HTML/Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Install Okendo widgets, configure features, and customize display settings for merchants
  • Investigate and resolve front-end bugs affecting merchant storefronts
  • Contribute to internal documentation and community support resources

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer-facing technical support experience
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (required)
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Based in the Philippines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Shopify or Shopify Liquid templating
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
  • SaaS or e-commerce platform support background
