Overview
Okendo is hiring a Technical Support Specialist based in the Philippines to support their Shopify merchant clients. This fully remote role blends front-end development with customer-facing support — ideal for someone who enjoys both coding and helping people.
Responsibilities
- Provide responsive chat and email support to merchants during onboarding, post-installation, and ongoing maintenance
- Perform front-end development tasks on Shopify storefronts using HTML/Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript
- Install Okendo widgets, configure features, and customize display settings for merchants
- Investigate and resolve front-end bugs affecting merchant storefronts
- Contribute to internal documentation and community support resources
Requirements
- 3+ years of customer-facing technical support experience
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (required)
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Based in the Philippines
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify or Shopify Liquid templating
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
- SaaS or e-commerce platform support background
