About the Role
Berry Virtual is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant to join their team. You'll support accounting and financial operations for US-based clients, handling daily bookkeeping tasks, reconciliations, and payroll — all from the comfort of your home in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage bank account and trust account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Handle 1099 processing and collections tracking
- Use QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software as required by clients
- Communicate clearly with clients and the Berry Virtual team on financial matters
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent English communication and organizational skills
- Availability to work US timezone hours (PST, EST, or CST)
- Stable high-speed internet (25 Mbps+) with backup power solution
- Own PC/laptop: Core i5+, 8GB RAM, Windows 10 or newer, 500GB/128GB SSD, webcam
