Job Description
Overview
Okendo is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to support their day-to-day finance operations in a fully remote role. You will maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support payroll and expense administration across Okendo's Australia and US entities.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Xero
- Support payroll administration in Rippling and run quarterly audits to ensure accuracy
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Maintain accurate financial records for both Australia and US business entities
- Partner with the Financial Controller to resolve expense and transaction queries
- Ensure financial processes run smoothly in a remote-first environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
- Experience with payroll administration (Rippling or similar)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
- Based in the Philippines
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting both US and Australian entities
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, remote-first tech company
