Overview
Remote VA is hiring a full-time Bookkeeper to oversee financial operations related to credit card transactions, including processing payments, tracking expenses, and reconciling statements. This is a night shift (EST) work-from-home position with weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, record, and categorize credit card transactions
- Reconcile credit card statements with accounting records
- Manage payment schedules to prevent late fees
- Maintain financial records including accounts payable and receivable
- Record daily transactions in accounting software
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets)
- Track and validate employee credit card usage
- Organize receipts and documentation
- Analyze spending patterns for cost savings
- Generate expense reports for management
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Support audit processes
Requirements
- Bookkeeping experience with credit card transaction management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop or Xero
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation abilities
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
